Meraas is a holding within Dubai Holding (the ruler's personal fund). Its specialty is lifestyle developments: La Mer beach, the City Walk entertainment cluster, the artificial Bluewaters island with the Ain Dubai wheel, and the Boxpark food district. Since 2020 the company has also been actively selling residential property: Bluewaters Residences, Bluewaters Bay, City Walk apartments, Madinat Jumeirah Living and Port de La Mer.
