Meraas

Meraas is a Dubai-based developer whose projects span real estate, retail, hospitality, food and beverage, leisure and entertainment, and healthcare. On 9 June 2020 the Dubai Media Office announced that, under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Meraas would become part of Dubai Holding under the leadership of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. Dubai Holding Real Estate describes itself as the holding company for Dubai Properties, Meraas and Ejadah.

Meraas developed City Walk, an open-air shopping destination in Jumeirah 1 at the junction of Al Wasl and Al Safa roads, and launched BoxPark on Al Wasl Road. La Mer, a beachfront destination in Jumeirah 1 on existing and reclaimed land, opened in October 2017. Bluewaters is a man-made island developed by Meraas off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline, with the Ain Dubai observation wheel as its centrepiece.

Meraas's residential projects include Port de La Mer, which the company describes as the first residential community at La Mer; Bluewaters Bay, two residential towers linked by a podium; and Nourelle at Madinat Jumeirah Living, launched in October 2025. Dubai Hills Estate is developed as a joint venture between Emaar Properties and Meraas.
