Bluewaters Residences is a 10-building Meraas residential complex on the artificial Bluewaters island, delivered 2018. Heights range from 4 to 17 floors. Around 700 units: 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-bedroom apartments plus townhouses and penthouses.

In 2013, Meraas — a Dubai development group under Sheikh Mohammed — initiated an artificial-island project between Dubai Marina and the open Persian Gulf. The main element of the future island was to be Ain Dubai — the world's largest observation wheel. Bluewaters Residences was announced as the residential portion of a wider mixed-use project.
Two parallel layers were built: the island itself (sand reclamation, engineering) and the residential blocks with retail infrastructure. Construction ran 2014–2018. By Bluewaters Residences delivery (2018), Ain Dubai was still under construction — the wheel only opened in October 2021, after a three-year delay.
Finishes — Meraas standard: quartz countertops, premium ceramic tile, Bosch appliances. The object's infrastructure went far beyond standard residential: the island hosts restaurants (over 30 F&B outlets), retail, a beach club, beachfront, fitness centre, cinema. Multiple attractions with heavy footfall make Bluewaters one of Dubai's most active destinations.
Today Bluewaters Residences is one of Dubai's most desirable addresses for those seeking 'island lifestyle' with fast city access. Residents are split roughly between full-time owners and investors using short-term programmes. The opening of Ain Dubai in 2021 added a premium to prices: units with direct wheel views trade at a 25–35% mark-up.
