Port de La Mer

Port de La Mer is a freehold residential community developed by Meraas at La Mer in Jumeirah 1, on the tip of La Mer's north peninsula. Meraas announced it in September 2018 as the first residential community at La Mer and describes it as the first freehold master community in Jumeirah. The community consists of low-rise buildings with one- to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, set around a marina that Meraas lists with more than 190 berths.

The first area, La Côte, was announced with five low-rise buildings containing about 400 apartments and a two-storey penthouse; at the 2018 announcement Meraas said work had started, with completion planned for Q4 2020 (developer, announced 2018). A second project, La Rive, was to have more than 250 apartments and penthouses in four buildings; in March 2019 Khaleej Times and Arabian Business reported that La Côte and La Rive together comprise nine buildings. Dewan Architects & Engineers lists the 240,000 m² master community with six plots: La Côte, La Rive, Le Pont, La Voile, La Sirène and Le Ciel. Meraas also markets Le Soleil, at the edge of the island, as the final addition.

In 2023 Meraas appointed China Railway 18th Bureau as main contractor for Le Ciel, a plot of three residential buildings, with Dewan Architects & Engineers as project consultant. The facilities announced in 2018 include a private beach, swimming pools, gyms, and boutiques and restaurants arranged around piazzas.
