The Acres

The Acres is a community of standalone villas by Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, in Dubailand. It is reached from Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Emirates Road, near Global Village, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Hamdan Sports Complex. In 2024 Meraas gave the community a total of 1,200 villas with three to seven bedrooms. The developer markets two products: The Acres villas, with three to five bedrooms, and The Acres Estates, with five- to seven-bedroom homes in the Amber and Ivory collections on plots of 9,000 to 17,700 sq ft.

The community is planned around Halo Loop Park and swimmable lagoons. The developer's amenity list includes a nursery, a school, a clinic, mosques, clubhouses, a retail area, an Edible Garden, walking and cycling trails, an outdoor gym, playgrounds and swimming pools. The community has LEED Gold pre-certification for communities, which Meraas described as its first.

Meraas released further villas in 2024 and unveiled the final phase of the villas in March 2025, together with The Acres Estates. In November 2025 it awarded United Engineering Construction (UNEC) the contract for the first release of 642 villas, with completion scheduled for Q4 2027. In April 2026 it awarded contracts for 557 more villas: 371 at The Acres to UNEC and 186 at The Acres Estates to GCC Contracting.
