VELA, Dorchester Collection, Dubai

VELA, Dorchester Collection, Dubai is a residential tower by Omniyat on Marasi Bay Marina, next to the developer's The Lana, Dorchester Collection. Omniyat launched the project in June 2023 and announced the start of construction in November 2023. The architect is Foster + Partners, with Archgroup Consultants listed by CTBUH as architect of record; the interiors are by the Paris studio Gilles & Boissier. Dorchester Collection provides hospitality services to residents, including concierge, valet and in-residence dining.

The tower is 150 m tall and holds 38 fully furnished residences with three to five bedrooms: marina and sky residences, three penthouses and a Sky Palace over the top three floors. Omniyat gives 30 storeys, while the CTBUH Skyscraper Center lists 35 floors above ground. Amenities listed by the developer include an infinity-edge lap pool, a triple-height gym, a cinema room and a spa suite with salon.

In May 2025 Omniyat appointed Arabian Construction Company (ACC) as main contractor for VELA and its sister project VELA Viento, and in January 2026 reported that VELA's structure had reached level 10. Handover dates announced by the developer have moved from Q4 2026 (2023) to Q2 2027 (May 2025); the current project page gives completion in Q4 2027.
