VELA Viento
VELA Viento is a residential project by Omniyat at Marasi Bay in Dubai, presented by the developer in November 2023. It is designed by Foster + Partners, with interiors by Gilles & Boissier, and the residences are managed by Dorchester Collection. The CTBUH Skyscraper Center lists it on Marasi Drive at 180 m with 41 floors above ground and 92 apartments, and names Archgroup Consultants as architect of record.
The project consists of two towers linked by three duplex residences whose dining rooms hang between them. Omniyat describes a Sky Amenities Deck about 100 m above ground.
CTBUH lists construction as starting in 2024. In May 2025 Omniyat appointed Arabian Construction Company (ACC) as main contractor for VELA and VELA Viento, and in January 2026 reported that the raft and ground-floor slabs were complete. Handover is planned for Q3 2027 (developer, announced May 2025).
