Aykon City

Aykon City is a DAMAC Properties development on Sheikh Zayed Road beside the Dubai Canal. When it was launched in February 2016, Khaleej Times reported a six-tower mixed-use plan on both sides of Sheikh Zayed Road at the Safa Park intersection, developed in collaboration with Meraas, with completion targeted for 2021. CTBUH now lists four of the planned towers (A, D, E and F) as cancelled.
Two towers were built at 395 Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay. According to CTBUH, DAMAC Maison Aykon City Hotel Apartments (Tower B) has 65 floors above ground, is 246.5 m tall and contains 1,225 serviced apartments; Tower C is a residential tower of 63 floors, 236.8 m, with 989 apartments. CTBUH gives 2016 as the construction start and 2023 as the completion year for both.
The towers were designed by Handel Architects, which describes them as standing on a shared podium of parking and amenities; LACASA was architect of record and China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East was main contractor. Tower C's apartments are studios and one- to three-bedroom units.
