Takaya
Takaya is a mixed-use development by Union Properties in Motor City, Dubai, overlooking the Dubai Autodrome. It occupies a plot of 436,175 sq ft (about 40,500 m²) and comprises three residential towers of varying heights with 788 homes: 744 apartments, 39 townhouses and five villas. The apartments range from studios to four-bedroom units and penthouses. Gulf News reported about 55,000 sq ft of retail space and a 500 m shopping boulevard.
Union Properties first announced Takaya in December 2022; Gulf News then reported that construction was expected to start in Q3 2023 and handover in Q4 2025. In September 2024 the company announced the project again among three new developments, with details to follow. Gulf News reported in December 2024 that Union Properties had broken ground on Takaya. The developer now lists the project as under construction, with handover planned for Q4 2027 (developer, project page as of 2026).
The developer's amenity list includes three temperature-controlled pools, three gyms, a 600 m running track, paddle tennis and squash courts, a daycare, a 200 m water stream with jogging paths, a cinema lounge, co-working spaces and EV charging points, set around a two-level podium.
