Union Properties

Union Properties PJSC was established in Dubai in 1987 and has been listed on the Dubai Financial Market since 1993 under the symbol UPP. The company describes its business as real estate development, the leasing and management of properties, and real estate trading. Its subsidiaries include Dubai Autodrome, the facilities services company ServeU, the interior contractor The Fitout, the community management company EDACOM and Union Malls.

Its developments include Motor City, a development of about 35.3 million sq ft with residential, business, sports and leisure components; it contains the Dubai Autodrome, a motorsport venue with a 5.39 km FIA-sanctioned circuit. In DIFC the company awarded the design-and-build contract for The Index, a tower designed by Foster + Partners, in 2005; in 2012 it agreed to transfer assets in The Index and Limestone House to Emirates NBD, its largest shareholder, while Emirates NBD extended the repayment of its debt. The company also sold the Ritz-Carlton in DIFC in November 2010. Other developments named by the company include Green Community and Uptown Mirdiff.

In April 2022 the company published a recovery plan following changes to its board in late 2021. In December 2022 it announced Takaya in Motor City, its first new development since 2015: three towers overlooking the Dubai Autodrome with 788 units. In December 2025 it broke ground on Mirdad, a second project in Motor City with four towers and 1,087 units; completion is targeted for Q4 2028 (developer, announced 2025).
