Jumeirah Bay Island

Jumeirah Bay Island, also written Jumeira Bay, is a seahorse-shaped island developed by Meraas off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road. News reports give its area as 6 to 6.3 million sq ft (about 0.56–0.59 km²). It is reached from the mainland by a 300-metre bridge reserved for residents and visitors. The island is home to Bvlgari Resort Dubai and a marina for about 50 boats with the Bulgari Yacht Club; it also contains land plots and villas. In 2024 Meraas awarded the construction contract for Bvlgari Lighthouse, a 27-storey residential tower on the island, with completion planned for Q2 2027 (developer, announced 2024).
