By 2015 Emaar Hospitality operated Address Hotels (premium) and wanted to expand into a more accessible tier. Vida was born as a lifestyle brand for a younger audience — less formal service, brighter aesthetics, prices 30% below Address. Vida Residences Downtown became one of the flagship objects of the new brand.

02Construction & delivery2017 — 2021 · CONSTRUCTION

Construction ran 2017–2021. Layout philosophy was tilted to short-term rental: 70% of units are studios and 1-bedroom, optimal for tourist letting. Sales launched in 2017 with focus on investors; around 80% of units were sold before handover.

03Life today2021 — TODAY · LIFE

Today Vida Residences Downtown is one of Downtown's most liquid 'income' addresses. Most units operate inside the hotel programme — occupancy stays above 85% year-round thanks to the touristic locale. Price per square metre is comparable with Burj Royale (Downtown's other entry-point), with a premium for branded service.
