Opera District — the northeastern part of Downtown Dubai — developed around Dubai Opera (opened 2016). By 2015 Emaar was shaping Opera's residential surroundings: a series of waterfront projects with direct access to Burj Park and Burj Khalifa views. Forte became the largest of these — 753 units across two towers, aimed at the mass mid-luxury segment.
Construction ran 2017–2021. Sales launched in 2017 and sold about 70% of inventory before handover — typical for Emaar in Downtown. Final handover took place in Q1 2021. A feature of the object: 2-bedroom units with direct Burj Khalifa views from Tower 1's upper floors went at pre-launch with a 25–30% premium over identical view-less units.
Finishes — Emaar Premium standard: quartz countertops, Italian ceramic tile, Bosch appliances. The podium hosts a large pool with Burj Park views, a separate kids' pool, a fitness centre, a BBQ area and a residents' lounge. Underground parking at 1:1 (one bay per unit).
Today Forte is one of Downtown's most liquid objects. The large inventory sustains an active secondary market (15–25 units on sale at any time). Prices per square metre have risen 30% since handover.
