In December 2021 Select Group announced Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, a hotel with 60 guest rooms, together with Six Senses Residences The Palm, Dubai, on Palm Jumeirah's West Crescent. The announcement named Emirates Strategic Investments Company (ESIC) as Select Group's joint venture partner and Six Senses as operator under a management agreement, and described it as the brand's first branded residences and hotel in the UAE. Construction was set to begin in January 2022, with a targeted completion of Q4 2024.

In January 2023 Select Group named iBuild Construction, part of Innovo, as main contractor. At that point excavation was complete and shoring was underway; the development was given as about 1.2 million sq ft, with completion then scheduled for 2024. Six Senses later named SAOTA as the firm behind the architecture and interiors.
In July 2026 Select Group announced the completion of the development and the start of handovers to homeowners, describing it as the first residential development in the Middle East and North Africa to carry the Six Senses brand. The residences include penthouses, Royal Penthouses, duplex Sky Villas and nine five-bedroom beachfront Signature Villas. Six Senses opened reservations at the hotel for stays from 1 September 2026.
