FIVE Jumeirah Village

FIVE Jumeirah Village is a hotel and residential tower in Jumeirah Village Circle. The CTBUH Skyscraper Center lists it as completed in 2019, with 61 floors above ground and one below, an architectural height of 277 m, 247 hotel rooms and 254 apartments; it names FIVE Holdings as owner and developer, Atkins as architect and China State Construction Engineering Corporation as main contractor.

The project began as Suites in the SKAI under SKAI Holdings, which Gulf Business reported in 2017 had been renamed Five Holdings; Gulf News described Suites in the SKAI as a four-star hotel tower in JVC. In August 2014 China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) announced it had been awarded the tower, then planned at 59 storeys with 234 hotel rooms, 234 hotel apartments and 30 penthouses. In April 2015 Serviced Apartment News reported that SKAI would upgrade the property to five stars and rebrand it Viceroy Dubai Jumeirah Village, with 247 hotel rooms and suites, 221 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 33 four-bedroom apartments with private pools.

On 26 August 2019 Gulf Business reported that the hotel, now named FIVE Jumeirah Village, would open on 2 September 2019, with 247 rooms and suites, 254 hotel apartments in one-, two- and four-bedroom layouts, and 269 pools; Arabian Business reported the same opening date and figures. The Skyscraper Center lists two 2021 Awards of Excellence for the tower, for Best Tall Building by height and by region.
