Culture Village

Culture Village is a master development on Dubai Creek, next to Garhoud Bridge, off Al Jaddaf. Dubai Properties unveiled it in May 2006 on a site of about 40 million sq ft (around 3.7 million m²). The master plan set out residential, commercial and retail zones with hospitality and entertainment sub-districts, and plans included an amphitheatre, an exhibition hall, museums and a creekside souk. Projects in the area include the Palazzo Versace hotel and residences and the D1 residential tower, both described by The National in 2008 as Sunland Group developments. Dubai Properties' own projects there include Dubai Wharf and Manazel Al Khor.
