Murooj Al Furjan

Murooj Al Furjan is a villa community launched by Nakheel in May 2021 in the centre of Al Furjan, close to the Pavilion retail area, Al Furjan Club and a Dubai Metro station. According to Nakheel, the name means "green fields". The first phase, covering five million sq ft across two gated communities, comprised 418 villas: 314 with four bedrooms and 104 with five, with built-up areas of up to 4,042 sq ft (about 375 m²). Nakheel stated that each villa has a three-car garage with an electric-vehicle charging point and its own piped gas supply.

At launch Nakheel said construction would start in 2021, with completion planned for 2024. In January 2022 Middle East Construction News reported that Nakheel had appointed Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) to build 620 villas and townhouses at Murooj Al Furjan, together with the associated infrastructure, due to be completed by 2024.

Nakheel's launch announcement lists more than one million sq ft of communal space with parks and tree-lined walkways, three swimming pools and a children's pool, shaded play areas, tennis and basketball courts, jogging tracks, and picnic and barbecue areas.
