Azizi Riviera

Azizi Riviera is a residential community by Azizi Developments in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, within the Meydan One development near the Dubai Water Canal. Its design takes the French Riviera waterfront as its model. The project was launched in July 2017 with a foundation-stone ceremony attended by the chairmen of Meydan Group and Azizi Group; it was the first project Azizi planned in Meydan One under a partnership with Meydan Group.

The announced size has grown over time: 69 mid-rise buildings at launch in 2017, 71 buildings with about 16,000 homes in 2022, and 75 mid- and high-rise buildings with about 16,000 homes in 2026, including studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. A crystal lagoon announced in June 2021 runs 2.7 km through the community and covers more than 130,026 m². The plan also includes a retail boulevard, a lagoon walk with cafés and shops, and a green social area called Les Jardins.

The community is being built in four phases. The first handovers took place in 2022, when seven Phase 1 buildings with 1,164 units were handed over. Rêve, the fourth phase, was launched in 2022 with 24 buildings and 5,061 homes. In 2026 Azizi handed over Riviera 69, a 10-storey Phase 4 building, and Beachfront I on the lagoon on the same day.
