Uptown Tower

Uptown Tower is a mixed-use skyscraper on First Al Khail Street in the Uptown Dubai district of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, owned and developed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). It was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. CTBUH lists it at 333.4 m with 77 floors above ground and gives 2023 as its completion year; DMCC and the contractor describe it as a 340 m, 81-storey tower.
The tower combines 22 floors of Grade A office space, the 188-key SO/ Uptown Dubai hotel and 227 branded residences, SO/ Uptown Dubai Residences, on the top 28 floors. DMCC lists one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouses. The hotel and residences carry the SO/ brand of Ennismore, a joint venture with Accor.
CTBUH records the project as proposed in 2013, with construction starting in 2017. Six Construct, the Middle East entity of BESIX Group, was awarded the construction contract in 2019. DMCC launched sales of the residences in February 2023, office tenants began moving in during 2023, and SO/ Uptown Dubai formally opened in September 2023.
