Downtown Jebel Ali

Downtown Jebel Ali is a mixed-use community on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Jebel Ali area of Dubai. Its master developer is Limitless, a former property arm of Dubai World. Launched in 2006, the project was described in 2017 as covering 200 hectares in four zones that together stretch 11 km along Sheikh Zayed Road. Completion had originally been slated for 2011; Limitless ran into debt problems after the 2009 property crash and later went through a debt restructuring. Limitless has carried out the infrastructure work, while more than 300 plots are set aside for third parties to build apartments, hotels, offices and retail. Limitless developed The Galleries, a business and retail community in zone 1. Third-party projects in the area include Deyaar's ELEVE residential project and Abraham by Azizi Developments.
