Shamal Holding

Shamal Holding is a Dubai-based diversified investment firm. Dubai government media and Gulf News describe it as the owner of the Dubai Harbour waterfront district, and Gulf News also names it as the owner of Skydive Dubai. In December 2023 Gulf News reported that Shamal had taken a full controlling stake in the restaurant brand Sushisamba, in which it had held a 50% stake since 2014.

On 29 May 2024 Shamal announced Dubai Harbour Residences, a low-rise beachfront project designed by Nikken Sekkei and delivered with H&H Development, as its first residential project at Dubai Harbour. In October 2025 the Dubai Media Office reported an agreement between Shamal and Marriott International for The Dubai Beach EDITION hotel and The Residences at The Dubai Beach EDITION at Dubai Harbour, with completion planned for 2029 (as announced in 2025).

In June 2026 Gulf Construction reported that Shamal had received building completion certificates for new assets at Dubai Harbour, including a nine-storey car park with 845 spaces, and had delivered 39 villas with a clubhouse in Al Sufouh.
