Al Jaddaf

Al Jaddaf lies on Dubai Creek. In 2022 Khaleej Times reported on a shipyard in Al Jaddaf, next to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, where a small group of men still builds traditional dhows; its owner was described as one of the last remaining boat makers in the district. On the creek shore, Dubai Properties developed Jaddaf Waterfront, with a 60-berth marina between Garhoud Bridge and Business Bay Bridge that has operated since 2017, a public space of more than 46,000 m² and the residential neighbourhoods Dubai Wharf and Manazel Al Khor. Visit Dubai describes Al Jaddaf Walk at the waterfront, with public art. The Culture Village master development lies off Al Jaddaf on Dubai Creek, and Gulf News named the route from Al Jadaf Metro station as one of its three main access roads. Residential projects in the district include Binghatti Ghost, Binghatti's first project in Al Jaddaf.
