Sheffield Real Estate

Sheffield Holdings launched the Marina 101 tower in Dubai Marina in 2005, according to Gulf News. In 2014 The National described it as the private company building the tower, owned by its founder Abu Ali Malik Shroff; Gulf News also names Shroff as founder of Sheffield Holdings Limited. Gulf News has also referred to the developer as Sheffield Real Estate, and the CTBUH Skyscraper Center lists Sheffield Real Estate as the tower's owner while naming Emaar Properties as developer.

The CTBUH lists Marina 101 with 101 floors above ground and an architectural height of 425 m; The National has called it Dubai's second-tallest skyscraper. In October 2019 The National reported that Sheffield Holdings Limited had left the project unfinished after running out of money, and that its lenders, three Indian banks including Bank of Baroda, were looking for a new developer. In February 2020 Shroff told Gulf News that he remained the developer.
